Iron exceeds the CAL OSHA minimum safety requirements and has implemented and strictly enforces an Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). All Iron Construction employees are First Aid/CPR certified and trained in site-specific conditions and equipment. Additionally, all Iron employees (salaried and union) are 100% drug tested. All Iron Construction salaried employees are given a background check at employment.

Weekly safety meetings are required for all Iron employees and subcontractors and are conducted by the on-site project superintendent. Our EMR is .72 and we have had no recordable or lost-time accidents in the last seven years. Iron subscribes to ISNetworld and maintains an `A’ rating.

 Iron has been awarded a Certificate of Completion Platinum Award Rating by ConstructSecure, Inc. This is to certify that Iron Construction, Inc. has successfully completed the ConstructSecure independent Construction Safety Assessment Program (CS-Safety). Iron has completed the area for the trade Construction. The Contractor Safety Assessment Program reviews a company’s historic safety performance and current safety management systems. The program normalizes for contractor size and type of work performed. It provides a thorough, objective and consistent evaluation of company performance for decision making by construction industry participants.
